Happy September, Summerlin friends and neighbors!

There is something about this month that feels like the community exhales together. The blistering heat of July and August starts to soften, the sunsets shift to that golden-hour glow that makes the mountains look like they are on fire, and the event calendar fills up with the kind of gatherings that remind you why this community is so special.

This month I am sharing Summerlin community news and neighborhood highlights, the September events you will not want to miss, a community spotlight on one of our newest parks, and two new blog posts about life in our villages.

As always, my door is open. If you are thinking about buying, selling, or just want to chat about the neighborhood, I am here.

With gratitude,
Samantha

Community News & Neighborhood Highlights

September is a turning point in Summerlin. The market keeps shifting toward balance, new parks are settling into the neighborhood rotation, and the fall event calendar is officially underway. Here is the news I am most excited about this month.

The market is settling into balance. More homes are available than a year ago, homes are staying on the market a little longer, and buyers have more room to negotiate. Months of supply is still under 2.5 months, which keeps Summerlin in seller-favorable territory, but the urgency of the past few years has eased. That means buyers and sellers can both make decisions with more clarity and less pressure.

New parks are becoming neighborhood favorites. Grand Park's first phase, Council Park, has been drawing families since it opened, and The Hub Park's pump track is a hit with riders of every age. Summerlin keeps adding the kind of spaces that make it a wonderful place to raise a family.

Fall events are here. The New Vista Wine Walk headlines the month on September 26, the farmers market is in its best season, and Friday Nite Live brings music back to The Lawn. More on all of it below.

Community Spotlight: The Hub Park

Modern community playground in Summerlin with a shade sail and climbing structures

If you have a child who loves bikes, scooters, or skateboards, The Hub Park is about to become your new favorite destination. This 1.5-acre park opened in September 2025 and features a pump track, a looping series of rollers and berms that riders of all skill levels can flow through without pedaling. It also has a climbing play structure, a traditional playground, and a bike repair station.

The pump track is the star of the show, though. I have watched kids as young as three and adults in their fifties take laps around it, each grinning just as wide. You will find it at 11511 Fleetwing Avenue, tucked into the northwest Summerlin neighborhoods, and it is a wonderful example of how Summerlin keeps adding the kind of spaces that bring neighbors together.

If The Hub Park sounds like your family's pace, search homes near Summerlin's newest parks to see what is on the market.
