Summerlin's Food Scene Is Booming: New Restaurants to Try This Summer

Outdoor dining in Downtown Summerlin with string lights at golden hour

Summerlin has always had great dining, but 2026 has been a standout year for food lovers. With several exciting new openings and a revamped food hall, the community's dining scene is buzzing. Whether you are craving Japanese ramen, Hawaiian comfort food, or an elevated evening out, here is what is new and worth your table this summer.

Marufuku Ramen Joins Downtown Summerlin

One of the most anticipated openings of the year, Marufuku Ramen arrived in Downtown Summerlin this past February, taking over the former SkinnyFats space. Known for its rich, perfectly balanced tonkotsu broth and delicate Hakata-style noodles, this popular chain has earned a devoted following. On a hot August day, there is something magical about sitting in a cool, bustling bowl and letting that steaming bowl of ramen transport you. Their famous Chicken Paitan and extra-thick chashu are not to be missed.

The Neighborhood Food Hall at The Resort at Summerlin

Perhaps the most exciting culinary development this year is the fully revamped Neighborhood Food Hall at The Resort at Summerlin. Part of a $75 million property renovation, this food hall brings together an impressive lineup: ai Pazzi for Italian, Pearls Oyster & Crudo Bar for fresh seafood, Nom Wah for dim sum, plus Tacos 1986 and For The Win — both L.A. imports that opened in March. It is the perfect spot when your group cannot agree on what to eat: everyone picks their own counter and meets at a communal table.

Zippy's Brings Hawaiian Comfort Food

Zippy's opened its fourth Las Vegas location right here in Summerlin earlier this year, and locals have embraced it wholeheartedly. Known for hearty Hawaiian comfort classics — think saimin, chili, and their legendary Zip Pac — it is the kind of place that quickly becomes part of your regular rotation. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the vibe is unfussy and welcoming.

Summerlin Dining Districts Worth Exploring

Beyond the newcomers, Summerlin's dining landscape continues to thrive across several districts. Downtown Summerlin remains the walkable heart of it all, with dozens of restaurants ranging from Echo & Rig (a perennial favorite for steak lovers) to Honey Salt, Harlo Steakhouse & Bar, and the always-reliable True Food Kitchen. Tivoli Village offers a more intimate, European-inspired dining experience, while the Red Rock Resort area and The Resort at Summerlin — with its new food hall — round out the options.

One of the things I love most about Summerlin is how the dining scene brings people together. Whether it is a Friday night date at Fine Company, a family dinner at Trattoria Reggiano, or a casual weekend lunch at Flecha Cantina, there is always somewhere new to discover and a familiar place to return to.

“The best part of covering Summerlin's food scene is watching a new restaurant become a neighborhood favorite. That is the magic of this community.”

Thinking about making Summerlin your home? The food scene alone is reason enough. Let's talk about finding your perfect spot in this incredible community.
